Information Literate Individual

An information literate individual is a person who can identify the information needed, and can determine the extent of the information. They can also locate and retrieve appropriate sources of information, evaluate the relevance and reliability of the information retrieved. After restoring the information, they can synthesize it into newly acquired information, by which they can properly cite the sources of further information and share it so others can properly use it. Information literate individuals in short are the ones who know that abundance of information is of little help to those who doesn’t know how to use it effectively.

Being information literate individual means you are able to identify, evaluate, and use information properly. It is also the ability to locate or give the sources of information, and the ability to store information. Having these abilities means you are knowledgeable enough to identify which information is the right one, how can this information be communicated, and how will you store this information. With these abilities you are able to get and give proper information that has a great impact to every people

    Information literate individual are well-educated people when it comes to retrieving, processing and sharing information. These people know how to analyze and evaluate information to know if they're legit or real. People like them are in demand nowadays since information of today is not reliable and way too deceiving. Being on ILI is advantageous since real information is being analyzed and can be converted into knowledge and uses it to their ways and desires for their own benefit

    Being an information literate individual, you are intelligent and well-educated about reliable information. You have a good knowledge and understanding of that information even though many people do not know about it. If you are not an information literate individual, you are ignorant of what is happening today. You cannot also what to do to a thing when you do not have information on how to use it. You should also know the news and stay updated. Information is knowledge, and it is essential in our lives. Without information, everyone cannot be sure and they cannot have knowledge about the world.

 Information Literate individual are those people who are updated about the issues and latest news around them. They gather information by the use of different media such as radio, television, newspaper, and social media.

They evaluate the information to check its validity by finding credible sources, and looking its ratings and comments.

They communicate the information through announcement, personal interaction, technologies (computer, cellphone, etc.), letter, print ads, and reporting.

    Information, processed from books, magazine, journal, internet or an experiment. To the person who use and spread the information. Conscious or not we always do this process of collecting and spreading information. From a simple reading of text to reporting of lessons. We do this all the time.

   This transfer of information is always used like part of our own system. But we can’t deny that there are many who are information illiterate individual who didn't know how to responsibly use information and also those who neglected to follow proper way of transferring information.

There are those who identify and check the information and also the sources. Gives proper citation, analyzes, evaluates, organizes, stores the information responsibly, and spreads information in an ethical, efficient, and effective way.

Also there are those who neglected to follow the proper and the right way of using information. They are those who easily believes in almost all of the seen information and tells other people about the information as of they are so sure about it.
